Introduction of dialysis center
Civil Aviation General Hospital’s dialysis center is established in 2000, the predecessor is internal medicine dialysis room, which carry out hemodialysis treatment as early as 1993.At present, our center has 70 international advanced dialysis machines, equipped with blood volume monitoring, online uremic clearance determination and automatic blood pressure monitoring. We can carry out hemodialysis, hemofiltration, hemoperfusion, ascites transfusion, continuous renal replacement therapy and a number of advanced blood purification technology, can meet the routine dialysis treatment of nearly 300 patients and dialysis times up to 42,000 per year. The survival rate of our patients is higher than the national average and there is no serious medical malpractice occurred so far. Our center was authorized to be the training base of blood purification quality control improvement and Beijing Nursing Association Specialist nurse training base in 2007,2015 respectively.
There are 16 doctors including 3 chief and deputy chief physicians,7 attending physicians,14 PHDs and MDs and 36 nursing staffs in our center. We participated in national major disaster rescues and supporting remote areas many times since established. We insisted on treating during the war of against SARS in 2003 and no staffs or patients got infected. In 2008, disastrous earthquake occurred in Sichuan,4 medical staffs from our center participated in the disaster rescues and made a great contribution. In 2012, we responded to the national call to assist Inner Mongolia Tuyouqi hospital to carry out hemodialysis work and established the first dialysis room in the county. Over the years, we always adhere to the concept of "safety first, service first" and keep close communication with patients via sodality. We have held cross-strait blood purification exchange for seven consecutive years successfully. Our center has developed to one of the largest dialysis center in eastern part of Beijing and has been awarded the honorary title of "Three Eight service model" and "Workers Pioneer" by the Civil Aviation Administration.We make unremitting efforts to shaping the first-class dialysis center.
